SECTION SIX – THE COMPETENCIES (Self-Assessment)
Each competency is defined at three levels of attainment, as follows:

LEVEL 1 - You are aware and able to understand the basic principles of each competency from a knowledge perspective.

LEVEL 2 - You are able to discuss the competency from a range of different project types based on your relevant job experiences and explaining how you have actually done them (i.e. data collection, producing documents, reports and the like).

LEVEL 3 - You are able to give advice, provide options and recommendation to an issue/problem on your project/s. This advice should be based upon and taken from the experiences you have had at Level 2.

SECTION SEVEN – PICQS CODE OF ETHICS
PICQS RULES OF CONDUCTS

Professional behaviour - Members shall at all times, act with integrity, avoid conflicts of interest and do not engage in any actions that are not befitting that of a professional.

Continuing Professional Development (CPD) - Members shall plan, undertake and record appropriate continuing professional development of 13 hours per year and submit any evidence to PICQS as required.

Solvency - Members shall ensure that they properly manage their personal finances

Provision of Professional Indemnity Insurance - Any Member who operates his/her own Firm shall ensure that all Works undertaken by the Firm is covered by an adequate and appropriate professional indemnity insurance cover which complies with standards.

Payment of Membership Fee - Members shall ensure that they pay their annual Membership fee in a timely basis.

High Standard of Service - Members shall provide the highest standard of professional service

Participation in Meetings/Events - Members shall actively participate in the following: Annual General Membership, Meetings, Annual National Convention, Conferences and Chapter Meetings.

Career Plan Declaration - Members are required to declare and submit their career plan during the Annual Membership Validation

Cut-off for Applicants

ON or BEFORE THE 15th of the current month – You will received a response within 3 to 5 days to book your interview appointment. 

AFTER THE 15th – You will be included in the next batch of applicants for interview. No need to follow-up. Be rest assured that your application was received by PICQS.

Example:

June 1 to 15  Applications- included in assessment between last week of June to Mid-July
June 16 to July 15  Applications – included in assessment between last week of July to Mid-August.

*In some cases, PICQS may accommodate a few more interviews depending on the volume of applicants and availability of Interviewers.
